Our Journal Club
The Danube Private University Journal Club of Science (JCoS) is the result of an initiative by students at Danube Private University (DPU) who, after becoming members of the International Collegiate Journal of Science (https://icjs.us), wanted to establish extracurricular opportunities for scientific development locally at DPU.
The current offer for members includes Skills Labs, in which they can learn the basics of scientific work and writing as well as how to apply for funding, Progress Labs, in which experienced scientists present their specialist areas and current research questions, and Work Labs, in which students write scientific articles that can be published on the website following the association's internal peer review process.
Another aim is to gain insights into educational, scientific and health structures through non-profit projects and to find creative solutions to improve conditions.
